Channelup offers different data flows between Maropost stores to automate syncing of data.
Before you can set these data flows up you need to create product groups for each Maropost store and then connect those stores.
Go to Manage Groups > Add Group > Create a new group
Go to Connections > Add > Maropost Platform > Select Group and enter Maropost API details
The first store you connect and import products for will become your primary store. It is important to use the store that you have your main product data as this will be imported into your Channelup account. All secondary stores that have the same SKU's will link to your primary store data and not override product information.
To connect your first store go to Add apps > Maropost Product Import > Select the store you connected and click install
Channelup allows you to manage all your product data from one central location.
There are 2 methods in automating your product publishing:
You can create all your new product data through Channelup and publish to your linked stores.
When you install a product export app it will ask you to specify the store and product group. The group you select will contain the products that will be used the by export app.
After you create a new product you need to assign it to a product group that your product export is linked to. Within product page go to Product Groups > Add Product Group > select the group that you linked above to your product export.
Use Primary Store
After you import your products you can set them to publish to all other connected stores.
Firstly, all your stores need to be synced with your primary store data.
Install Maropost Product Import for each one of your stores. The SKU field will be used to link products with same value to the original primary product.
Once you have synced all your Maropost stores product data you can install Maropost Product Export for each secondary store.
When you publish new products to your primary Maropost store they will be imported into Channelup based on the schedule you set on app.
To automate new products publishing to your secondary stores you can set a schedule on each product export app. If no schedule is set or the app is not running you can manually trigger an export by going to Manage apps > selecting Run Now on the app your wish to run.
Inventory stock levels and warehouses are not part of product import and export apps.
As with product data you have the option to manage inventory levels directly through Channelup or to set up a data flow from your primary store.
When using Channelup Purchase Order app we recommend using Channelup as your inventory source.
If you would like inventory to sync between stores you need to install Maropost Inventory Import app for your primary store.
Now that you have inventory syncing from your primary store you can install the Maropost Inventory Export app for each of your secondary stores.
If you are not managing inventory from Channelup but through a primary Maropost store you will normally need to send orders from your secondary stores back to your primary store.
To achieve this data flow first install Maropost Order Import app for each of your secondary stores.
Once all your secondary stores have orders being imported into Channelup you need to export these orders into your primary Maropost store. To install Maropost Order Export go to Add apps and install the export app.
If you ship orders through your primary store but notify customers from individual secondary stores you may need to update tracking data after order is fulfilled.
Install the Maropost Order Tracking Import on your primary store to update all orders stored in Channelup.
Once tracking number if flowing from your primary store you simply need to install Maropost Order Tracking Export app for each secondary store. The orders will be filtered out to their correct stores.
